Self-Directed IRA

Diversify your retirement holdings

There are other options beyond stocks and money market accounts for your retirement account 401k. Moving your traditional IRA account to a self-directed IRA removes some of the asset limitations that a traditional IRA account has and provides you with another way to fund your real property investment.

These IRS-permitted investment types include (but are not limited to): real estate, stocks, mortgages, franchises, partnerships, private equity and tax liens. By allowing a wide range of investment choices, self-directed IRAs improve your ability to diversify your IRA portfolio(s). In addition to providing you with the ability to fund outside investments, the profits of an LLC, pass through to your IRA with nearly identical tax favorable treatment.

Your accountant will be able to help you through the process of self-directing your IRA. And, if you are interested in leveraging your IRA, but first want to learn more about the opportunity, please contact us. You can also learn more about how apartment investing works here.
